Engineers for Tomorrow

Each year, Caterpillar Inc. awards scholarships to meet the needs of manufacturers located in selected community college districts that represent constituents of Bradley University.

Engineers for Tomorrow Goals:

• Interest, encourage, and assist young people in pursuing an engineering career
• Benefit Illinois-Iowa employers in their recruitment and retention of young engineering graduates
• Return the best and brightest to their hometown region

Eligibility Requirements:

• Major in Engineering
• Maintain a 2.8/4.0 G.P.A.
• Must transfer from a community college

Students are selected by representatives from Caterpillar and Bradley University upon review of those community college transfer students who qualify for the scholarships.

Students who receive this scholarship are responsible for a maximum of one-third of the cost of tuition. Caterpillar and Bradley University are equally responsible for the remaining two-thirds.

Students are also responsible for any costs associated with room, board and books.

Participating sponsors of the local program will choose local scholarship recipients, who may be required to work in the local area for a period of time after receiving an engineering degree.
