United Way

Our people and facilities throughout the world support hundreds of community organizations, and our Caterpillar Foundation contributes to a number of causes.  Since the 1950s, however, Caterpillar has made only one annual solicitation for funds to our employees, and that is for the United Way. 

This annual campaign became known as the Caterpillar Employees United Way Appeal (CEUWA).  Since the campaign began, 100 percent of all employee contributions raised through CEUWA have been distributed back to the employee's local United Way.  The individual United Ways then fund various agencies within their communities, where our employees and families live and work.  The United Way is an extensive organization that reaches thousands of communities in the United States and around the world, and we are proud to support our communities through them.
