Development Programs
As a growing organization, Caterpillar is seeking talented and motivated employees on a continual basis. One of the ways we are able to do this is through our development programs.

Caterpillar offers specialized development programs for college graduates for various career tracks including human resources, information technology, engineering, technical marketing, logistics and more. These rotational programs usually last two or three years, and give participants the opportunity to experience multiple Caterpillar operations, gaining valuable industry-related skills and contributing to real-world Cat projects. Once completed, program participants will continue their career at Caterpillar with a professional placement within their division. Caterpillar also offers student development programs that offer grade school through college students opportunities to learn about different careers in engineering, to speak with real-world professionals and take an exclusive peek inside the world of Caterpillar.

For those interested in a career as a Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician, the ThinkBIG and ThinkBIGGER development programs are ideal for high school graduates, students already enrolled in college, or those looking to make a career change to Cat.
