Overview

Utilizing ACERT technology, the new robust C32 ACERT block is designed to optimize durability, reliability, and fuel efficiency. The C32 ACERT engine offers the latest in Mechanically actuated Electronically controlled Unit Injection (MEUI) fuel system, state-of-the-art A4 Electronic Control Unit (ECU), and optimized turbocharging and aftercooling. These features combine to deliver reduced emission levels, excellent fuel economy levels, and reliable maximum power output. The C32 ACERT engine meets current EPA Tier 2 and IMO emissions regulations. The industry-leading Caterpillar fuel system provides lower specific fuel consumption, particularly at part load, while reducing smoke and emissions.
