Cat^® Engine Upgrade Kits for select marine 3500 engines offer significant benefits for your next overhaul. As a kitted solution, the entire upgrade is fully engineered and can be accomplished in hull without major modifications to the design or structure of the vessel. In order to help you better align solutions with your needs, two categories of solutions are offered including: Cat Emissions Upgrade Kits and Cat Performance Upgrade Kits described below.

Cat Emissions Upgrade Kits - These designs are focused on regulatory compliance and/or sustainability efforts. Options in this category often carry compliance recognition through certification or verification. While compliance is the focus, these kits also provide many operational benefits like improved diagnostic capability, lower vibration and noise, an often lower fuel consumption.

Cat Performance Upgrade Kits - These designs are focused on fuel savings. Options in this category often result in a short return on investment and on going savings. While performance is the focus, these kits also provide significant emissions benefits but typically will not carry a compliance designation like certification or verification.
