2012 - A Great Year to Connect with Cat^® Paving Products

Visitors to the 4,000 square meter Caterpillar exhibit will see that half of the space is devoted exclusively to paving products. The 2,000-square-meters of exhibit space are necessary to present the wide range of Cat® paving products, including several new product introductions. The comprehensive display demonstrates the wide range of choices available to paving customers, as well as the commitment Caterpillar has made to the paving industry.

Highlighting the paving products exhibit are several new product introductions, led by a new tandem vibratory roller line that features exceptional operator comfort and visibility. This line represents a complete range for the European market, including articulated and drum-steer configurations, available with solid or split drums. Optional attachments enhance versatility and allow customers to improve compaction quality and customize the machine for the application.

A full range of pavers will also be at the show, featuring both tracked and wheeled undercarriages. The display includes the new AP255E, the smallest paver in the range; and the new AP1055E, the largest of the Cat paver range, which excels at high-production paving.

The full range of vibratory soil compactors will be on display, including representative models of the new B-series vibratory soil compactor line, both smooth drum and padfoot drum. The B-Series features outstanding operator comfort and visibility, high productivity and attachments and technology to improve compaction quality on all soil types. Optional attachments enhance versatility and allow customers to customize the machine for the application.

A new pneumatic roller will be on display. The CW34 features an enhanced powertrain and operator controls, as well as a modular ballast system for easier weight adjustment.

Rounding out the display will be Cat cold planers, rotary mixers and utility compactors.

Dozens of representatives from Caterpillar Paving Products and Cat Dealers will also be on hand to discuss the many production-boosting benefits of the new products, operator comfort and technology advances, as well as innovative and time-saving service enhancements.
