Cat Grade and Slope Control systems build crew confidence. Systems are factory integrated to work with the existing machine electronic control modules (ECM) providing the fastest and most reliable input / output processing in the industry.

All the electronics are under the control of Computer Area Network (CAN) communication. CAN communications means higher security for input signals and less chance of signal deterioration or interference that causes unintended output signals. Only Caterpillar Asphalt Pavers and Cold Planers have CAN communication for grade and slope control.

Cat Grade and Slope Control is the only control system to provide Auto Calibration. The operator is removed from the process to guarantee  consistent and repeatable results. The system automatically calibrates itself to provide smooth screed response for pavers and accurate rotor depth for cold planers.
