This program is intended to evaluate the operating and application efficiency (productivity) of individuals that have existing operating experience on a machine family as measured against our competency standards. Students will be assessed on their proficiencies during the certification process. Scoring includes the ability to conduct a thorough walk-around inspection, pass a safety quiz with a score of 100% and a written knowledge assessment with a minimum score of 80%.
This is NOT intended for inexperienced operators and DOES NOT include training. At least five years operating applicable heavy equipment is required. Those wanting to attempt certification must successfully complete Level II courses prior.

Level III Professional Operator Certification is the final of the three levels in the Cat® Equipment Training Solutions Program and consists of the following product families:
Typically 1 to 2 days per machine family, up to a maximum of 4 days for complex applications. Includes testing and in-the-iron activities.
Up to fifteen calendar days prior to start of the class, cancellation fee is 25% of total program cost. Within fifteen days, cancellation fee is 50% of total program cost.
All enrollments must be received no less than 30 days prior to start of class.
“No shows” upon start of class will be billed at 100%.
