Cat® Grade Technology

What can Cat Grade do for me?

By automating machine control and guiding operators to achieve targets in rough, fine and finish grading applications, Cat® Grade technology helps you get work done in fewer passes. That means you burn less fuel, reduce machine hours and component wear, eliminate material overruns and move on to your next project more quickly. Cat Grade also makes jobsites safer by reducing or eliminating the need for staking and checking.

Plus, Cat Grade’s automated, intuitive controls simplify operation, reducing operator inputs by as much as 80%. It’s easy to learn, simple to use and enables even inexperienced operators to work like seasoned pros.

Choose from numerous machine control options—including 2D or 3D, laser or GNSS—that fit different jobsite needs and budgets. Cat Grade technology is available for many Cat machines and all brands of equipment in your fleet:

On new Cat equipment, you can select fully integrated Cat Grade technology as a factory attachment, and some grading systems can be retrofitted to older Cat machines. Your Cat or SITECH dealer can also install AccuGrade™ technology on new machines or retrofit older equipment from Caterpillar and other manufacturers.
