New Products Launched for Chinese Market at Beijing Trade Show

The Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES) tradeshow welcomed more than 100,000 participants worldwide to the Beijing Jiuhua International Exhibition Center during October 15-18, 2013.

At the show, Caterpillar presented eight new machines and introduced Cat® Connect Solutions to the Chinese market. The products on display included the 305.5E Mini Hydraulic Excavator, 313D Series 2 Hydraulic Excavator, 336D2 Hydraulic Excavator, 950 GC Wheel Loader, M315D2 and M317D2 Wheeled Excavator, CS78B Vibratory Soil Compactor and CW34 Pneumatic Compactor.

BICES gives us an opportunity to engage with representatives of a wide range of businesses and governmental organizations and to present the strengths and advantages of Caterpillar – quality products, state-of-the-art technologies and excelled after-sales service and support,” said Phillip Pollock, Marketing Manager of Asia Pacific, Caterpillar Global Construction & Infrastructure.

Contractors saw first-hand that Cat products are built with foundational qualities for jobs in China. Such capabilities include lower fuel consumption, higher productivity, durability, reliability and leading technology.

BICES is a bi-annual tradeshow held in Beijing, China. The exhibition is 2,034,379 square feet and hosts more than 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. It is the largest construction machinery show in Asia Pacific this year.
