Fencing Business Built on Solid Foundation of Support from Cat® Dealer

Yachal Benedick, owner of Hold ‘Em Fence, has been building fences in nearly every state west of the Mississippi for fourteen years. He built his business on the foundation of loyalty and relationships and continues that focus today.

Benedick grew up a home-schooled, farm boy near Fostoria, Kansas. Back then, a local rancher asked if he’d be interested in stringing some barbed wire for $10 an hour. Today, fourteen years later, Hold ‘Em Fence is a successful fencing business with a number of Cat® machines and engines, from Compact Track and Skid Steer Loaders to Mini Excavators and even Cat engines in their haul trucks.

50 Years of Cat® Off-Highway Trucks

Caterpillar offers customers an impressive array of industry leading off-highway trucks – and it all started with the Cat® 769 Off-Highway Truck, introduced 50 years ago.

After seven years of research and development, Caterpillar announced production of the first 769 Off-Highway Truck on December 31, 1962. The 769 made its first public appearance at the Construction Equipment Exposition and Road Show in the Chicago Amphitheater on February 23, 1963. Customers saw firsthand Caterpillar’s answer to some of their biggest concerns – it performed better, ran faster, hauled more, operated more safely and lasted longer than any truck in the marketplace. It was 100 percent designed by one company, and it was supported by a world-class distribution system.

Branson, who works in Karratha, Western Australia, has been operating motor graders for nearly 25 years. So when he decided to get his first tattoo, it seemed only natural that it would be a motor grader.

Cat® Dealer Yancey Bros. Helps Strack Inc. Manage Costs

Strack Inc., a pipeline and site development business in Georgia, turned to their Cat® dealer for equipment that would provide the best return on investment when it was time to replenish and expand their fleet.

The company, considered a major player in the trending pipeline business across the southeastern corner of the United States, began 65 years ago in Fairburn, Georgia. Strack President Jonathan Strack turned to Yancey Bros. Co., their local Cat dealer, to help with their fleet replenishment and expansion initiative.

They soon determined the 336E and 374D excavators would provide the best return on investment.
