The latest instalment in the Cat® Trial series is titled After Hours and is a magical celebration of 100 years of Caterpillar innovations. Shot primarily at night, it shows what happens when machines from multiple decades come together and come to life in a Caterpillar museum.
J. Archie Lyons, Senior Market Professional, explains, "With Cat Trial 14, we knew this would be released at the start of a huge milestone for Caterpillar…our Centennial. And what better way to celebrate than to look back on the iconic innovations our employees made possible for our customers' success."
Beautifully shot and accompanied by a moving score, it features many legendary Cat machines from an original Holt T-35 right through to the Cat Centennial D3, the first limited edition machine in Centennial Grey, to the futurist Power Loader prototype breaking loose and coming together to transform their exhibition site.
Another key element of the video is the power gallery, a guard of honour of Caterpillar's legacy as engine and genset builders. "We offer power to a lot of different industries that our customers rely on every day.”
For Lee Fosburg, Manager, Heritage Services & Archives, it showcases some of the stories Caterpillar machines tell,
