  • Guest Mode - explore general information and get equipment answers instantly. 
  • Logged in Mode - unlock personalized fleet insights, machine history and tailored recommendations.

If you’re logged in to applications like VisionLink, Cat Central, Cat.com, or Parts.Cat.Com, you’ll automatically get the full, personalized experience—no new account or setup needed. Just sign in as usual and open the Cat AI Assistant by clicking the icon.

Not logged in? You can still browse general information as a guest, or ask the Cat AI Assistant to help you register and unlock even more value.

Prompt like a pro

Getting helpful results from the Cat AI Assistant is easy. Just ask it the way you'd ask a coworker. Be clear about what you need, the machine or job you’re working on, and any details that help it guide you. Simple, conversational prompts like “How do I fix a low oil pressure fault on my generator?,” or “Find the right fuel filter for my 320” work best. The more specific you are, the faster the Cat AI Assistant can get you the right answer.
