Be More Productive with Cat® AutoCarry™

Want to make sure every cycle is as productive it can be? Cat® AutoCarry™ on your dozer helps you achieve and maintain a full blade load. With every pass, AutoCarry provides automatic blade height control, making sure you carry and keep as much material as you need. And because it’s automatic, operator fatigue isn’t an issue. Here’s how it works.

You can enable Cat® AutoCarry™ at any time before or during dozing.


HOW TO WORK WITH AUTOCARRY [00:22]

  1. Access AutoCarry from the home screen menu. 

  2. Load the blade manually, then let go of the blade control handle.

  3. The AutoCarry lamp will turn green, and the system will take control, adjusting your blade’s height automatically.

  4. You can adjust your AutoCarry load factor in the Cat Grade control settings menu. It can be adjusted, keeping track slip in mind, in 1% increments from 80% to 105%. And when you use the decelerator pedal, AutoCarry will adjust to the new speed.

  5. Need to adjust blade height manually? Use the blade control handle.

AutoCarry switches to enabled mode when your dozer is in reverse or neutral. But it suspends when the parking brake is set, implement lockout is set, the shift lever remains in neutral or the operator leaves the seat.


DO NOT USE AUTOCARRY TO:

  • push or pull equipment.

  • push the scraper.

  • pull tools or a truck.

  • rip forward or reverse.

  • pry stumps or winching.
