Electric Power Resources
Find everything you need to specify and stay up-to-date with Cat® Power Systems, including technical information, product sizing, training, and support.
Size with the Three Step Sizer
This mobile-friendly tool allows you to size available diesel generator sets up to 750 kW in three short steps. The three-step sizer is ideal for smaller projects—up to 25 loads in one to five different load steps—and enables you to save your project for future reference.
Size with SpecSizer
With no limit on the number of loads or steps, SpecSizer is ideal for complex or large projects and allows you to save and share your project with other users. Add multiple or individual loads all at once via a spreadsheet upload and receive information on calculated voltage and frequency dips.

WITNESS TESTING
See for yourself why your Cat generator won’t let you down in the field. Every Cat generator set undergoes a rigorous series of factory tests. Over twenty test cells are dedicated to special testing, with the capacity to test open, canopied, and containerized generator sets at both inductive and resistive loads.
Using up to 12 MW resistive capacity, a 3 MVAr inductive capacity, and a 750 kVAr capacitive capacity, we can test low- and high-voltage generator sets and multiple units synchronized together, simulating site conditions and installations.
