This course covers battery operation, construction, charging, maintenance, and testing.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Identify the components and correct operation of a battery.
  • Identify the types of batteries.
  • Perform a visual inspection and maintenance procedures on a battery.
  • Test a battery and battery cables using a DMM and a load tester. 
  • Charge a battery.
