COURSE DESCRIPTION

The G3600 Engine Systems Troubleshooting is a labs-only type learning event, where the learner will be exposed to various engine symptoms to be troubleshoot. At the Miami Lakes Learning Center the scenario-based labs will be conducted on fully functional G3606A4 driving an Ariel Compressor - The Larson Station.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Introduction to Applied Failure Analysis (AFA I):After completion, the participant will be able to use proper technique to troubleshoot: 

  • Detonation
  • Misfiring/Unstable operation
  • Misfiring
  • Engine Cranking , but not starting
  • High Coolant Temperature
  • Low Oil Pressure
