COURSE DESCRIPTION

The G3600 Operations & Maintenance course empowers the learner to properly operate and perform key preventive maintenance tasks as per Caterpillar recommendation. The goal is for the learner to know when to call for help, where to find/get answers, and how to provide adequate information on systems issues or malfunctions.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After Completion of this course, the learner will be able to :
 
  •  Perform 2,000 & 5,000hrs Preventive Maintenance (PMs) 
  •  Monitor and evaluate engine operating parameters to determine maintenance schedules 
  •  Collect critical engine performance data and determine corrective action 
  • Take immediate action if detonation and/or misfire is present. 
  •  Use vibration tool to take vibration readings and compare to specs.
