COURSE DESCRIPTION

The GERP Run Live virtual learning event provides an opportunity for the learner to practice on fuel data analysis based on various case scenarios. In addition, it goes into a deep-dive of the combustion relationship versus engine performance: BTU (power), Methane, Stability and timing), Specific Gravity, Heat ratio, Air-Fuel Ration (AFR), Emissions, Combustion knock, and Fuel consumption. You must have access to https://gerp.cat.com/ and familiarization with the webapp navigation and usage of GERP in general.

After completion of this learning event, the learner will be able to:

  • Recognize site conditions affecting fuel analysis
  • Interpret fuel analysis to better optimize engine tuning/performance.
