Machine Guarding Package

The Cat^® 914 and 920 Waste Handlers come with a comprehensive guarding package that provides superior protection for your machine. With extra steel guards the engine compartment, bottom, hitch and lights, your machine’s most critical components are well protected, even in the harshest environments.

Hydraulic Cylinder Snubbing

These loaders are designed with a hydraulic cylinder snubbing feature which slows down the hydraulics at the programmable position or end of each cylinder stroke for a soft “catch,” ensuring smoother operation, better material retention and less wear and tear on pins and bushings, and most importantly, the operator.

Programmable Kickouts

Set kickouts for upper and lower lift limits as well as bucket tilt so you can quickly and confidently hit your mark every time. Entering a material pile at the right height and angle has been shown to extend cutting edge life by up to 20%. You can even save different kickouts for different attachments to seamlessly switch between a bucket and forks.

Enhanced Visibility

Keep your crew safe in the cab and on the ground with better all-around visibility. This includes enhanced line-of-sight visibility from the cab as well as a standard integrated rearview camera and an optional front view camera.

Reversing Engine Fan

True to its name, the reversing engine fan purges dust and debris from your cooling pack, so your engine can deliver the performance you need to consistently get the job done. You can set the fan to automatically reverse throughout your shift, or you can perform a manual purge any time you feel the need.
