You can get the security of Extended Protection to avoid unexpected costs for unplanned repairs at select dealers. All the keys to machine health management conveniently display on your phone. And it all can roll in with your monthly machine payment. It’s one easy plan to leverage Cat value — beyond the machine — to maximize your investment and lower ownership costs. That’s a Cat Customer Value Agreement (CVA).

Coverage Lookup Tool 

1. Download the Lookup Tool (Excel File) on a desktop computer
2. Enable content if prompted
3. Select New or Used
4. Enter or Select your Serial Number Prefix. If browsing for a Serial Prefix, you may use any of the filters: Equipment Select, Product Family Select, and/or Sales Model Select to reduce the Serial Prefix List.
5. Click Search for Parts List button
6. View what’s included or not available in the table that displays below.
7. To search again click Clear Parts List

EXTENDED PROTECTION


Equipment Protection Plan (EPP) 


Equipment Protection Plan (EPP) Powertrain + Hydraulics + Technology provides extended protection beyond standard warranty for parts and labor. Coverage under the EPP Program does not change the standard warranty. The EPP ends when the length of time (measured in months) or the machine hour usage is reached, whichever comes first. DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES

Digital subscription services provide access to view location, utilization hours, fuel burn, inspections, fluid analysis, fault codes, and maintenance tracking for your linked machine.

This offer is applicable with all Caterpillar dealers in the United States unless the Cat CVA is sold by an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business. 

The following dealers are authorized to support customers purchasing a Cat CVA from OEM’s: Cleveland Brothers, Carter Machinery, HO Penn, Holt TX, and Warren 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please refer to your Cat CVA contract for detailed terms and conditions. Cancellation requests should be submitted to CFAS@cat.com or call 1-800-651-0567.

For Cat CVA (with new machine purchase) refund information, please refer to Schedule 1 of the Cat CVA contract. The percentages of the total Cat CVA purchase price that may be applied to each section of the formula are 100% for maintenance parts and services or for CVAs that include EPP, 67% for maintenance parts and service and 33% for EPP. Cat Daily subscription services are provided at no additional charge and will remain active with the machine. As a result, a refund does not apply. For CVAs that include VisionLink Daily or Cat Essentials the percentages of the total Cat CVA purchase price that may be applied to each section of the formula are 99% for maintenance parts and service or for CVAs that included EPP 66% for maintenance parts and services, 33% for EPP, and 1% for digital subscription services.

For the Protect CVA (with used machines) refund information, please refer to Schedule 1 of the Protect CVA contract. The percentages of the total Protect CVA purchase price that may be applied to each section of the formula are 87% for maintenance parts and services and 13% for CPP (where applicable).

For the Extend CVA (with used machines) refund information, please refer to Schedule 1 of the Extend CVA contract. The percentage of the total Extend CVA purchase price that may be applied to each section of the formula are 99% for maintenance parts and services and 1% for digital subscription services.
