The Cat® MEC500 Mobile Equipment Charger is a standalone fast charging system designed to charge quickly and safely wherever it’s needed. It can be towed, dragged or fork-lifted — eliminating the need for regular battery handling and swapping.
The solar array and PGS1260 HD Power Grid Stability Mobile Energy Storage System on display promoted a strategy of building power solutions with renewables in mind. They are part of the Cat Microgrid System, which integrates renewable energy sources into electric power systems. Microgrid pairs a genset with an energy storage unit, solar panels and advanced controls. The system integrates renewable power with smart energy storage to provide mine site power solutions.
