Driven by a vision to make these highly productive machines safer, more reliable and even more productive, we challenged the status quo and built an electric rope shovel that’s better.
The Cat 7495 has a 120-ton (109-tonne) dipper payload offering the most advanced electrics in the industry, along with a best-in-class operator's cab, a robust front-end and dippers to suit any application. It offers three- and four-pass loading capability with Cat ultra-class trucks.
The Cat 7495 HF offers all the same industry-leading features as the 7495, including a best-in-class operator's cab and a robust front end, but is configured with a high-flotation undercarriage designed specifically for oil sands mining applications where low ground-bearing pressure is required.
Providing proven Cat AC IGBT electrics and a robust front end design, the 7495 HD offers a payload of 90 tons (82 tonnes), providing three- and four-pass loading capability with both Cat 793, 795F AC and 794 AC mining trucks for an optimal loading and hauling operation. This powerful and reliable machine has a proven record of high productivity and high reliability.

While they are not integrated at the factory, the capability sets of Cat MineStar™ Solutions are available as a retrofit for Cat Electric Rope Shovels. MineStar is one of the most comprehensive suites of technology products in the mining industry, with a number of capability sets that allow you to scale the system to met your needs. The Cat 7495 is currently able to utilize three of the Cat MineStar capability sets.
