COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides an overview of the warnings and inducements initiated by the aftertreatment Electronic Control Module to ensure that Cat® engines conform with the U.S. Tier 4 Final/European Union Stage IV emission standards.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the functions of lights and switches for the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) System and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration system
- Describe the warning and derate strategy for the SCR system, the NOX Reduction System, the DPF Soot Loading.
