When you buy a Cat® marine engine or generator set, you’re getting more than just a piece of equipment. You’re getting our commitment to your productivity and profitability and the ongoing support of Caterpillar and our dealers.
One of the best ways we can make good on that commitment is by offering training to help you and your staff get the most out of your new Cat engine. We offer two main training options, one for Cat engines and one for MaK™ engines.
Technical Engine, Application & Maintenance (TEAM) Training is designed to help you get the most out of your time and your vessel. Join our experts at the factory for a hands-on engine class designed for the owners and crew of vessels powered by C7 ACERT™ to C32 ACERT engines.
Over the course of three days, our TEAM instructors will combine test cell sessions and classroom instructions covering the operation, maintenance and efficient use of Cat marine engines.

The quality, reliability and durability of MaK engines is critical for your business and your engines' efficient operation. Competent knowledge about an engine, its components and maintenance procedures help you get the maximum out of your investment.
Customer training has always been an integral part of MaK technical services, and you can count on the new Caterpillar Engine Training Center in Kiel, Germany for complete training solutions. Designed for operators and dealer service teams, the course gives participants an in-depth training experience from the same company that designs and builds the engines.
