Why is dual-fuel Capability important for gas generator sets?
Cat gas generator sets are primarily designed to run on natural gas. However, select models feature automatic dual-fuel capability, allowing them to switch to propane when natural gas is unavailable. These systems detect low gas pressure and activate a valve to transition to propane, then switch back once natural gas service is restored.
