The Cat® CW12 7-wheel pneumatic roller offers an operating weight range of 8520 kg to 8860 kg (18,783 lb - 19,533 lb) when equipped with a canopy. It provides a 2090 mm (82") compaction width and delivers excellent performance on grades and soft base materials with an efficient Cat engine.

Simple Operation

Superb Visibility with an exclusive 360 degree operating environment that enables the operator to face the direction of travel for better job site awareness. The rotating seat also slides from side to side for optimal wheel edge visibility.

Simple Operation

An LCD provides a visual references of machine controls to keep the operator informed when making adjustments. The display can be customized to support multiple language options. The push-button controls make operation easy and enable operators to modify engine speed, travel speed, and water spray functions.

Versatile Compaction Performance

Compaction Width

Seven rubber tires provide an overall compaction width of 2090 mm (82") with 84 mm (3") overlap.

Pickup Prevention

Several features help prevent material from adhering to the tires. The water spray system includes a pump, triple filtration, and dedicated spray nozzles for each tire. Spring-applied, self-adusting scrapers help remove debris and prevent accumulation.

Oscillating Wheels

Oscillating wheels optimize compaction beneath each wheel and eliminates bridging over softer areas.

Smooth Operating Powertrain

Engine

A C4.4 engine provides 75 kW (100.5 hp) of power and meets emissions equivalent to U.S. EPA Tier 3, EU Stage IIIA, and China Stage III.

Automatic Speed Control

Automatic speed control enables operators to maintain consistent speeds for optimal performance.

Eco-Mode

Eco-mode modifies the engine speed to 1900 rpm for peak performance and lower fuel consumption. The reduced rpm also lowers sound levels for enhanced operator comfort.
