The new Cat® XQ330 Generator

Easy to transport, control, and monitor, the XQ330 provides dependable and easy-to-use mobile power while meeting the most stringent environmental standards.
Power outages can stop critical operations at manufacturing, healthcare, commercial, event, and management facilities, resulting in the loss of services, products, and revenue. Thanks to the Cat XQ330 Generator, a rental solution which is able to generate prime and standby power, your power needs will be met despite any interruption. Featuring an efficient C9.3B diesel engine, this mobile generator is designed for quick setup and easy operation.
Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals don’t have to be compromised because of a power disruption. Like other Cat generators which meet the U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emission standards, the Cat XQ330 Generator is capable of using up to 100% hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a renewable diesel fuel meeting EN15940.
Control on the Go
Streamline transport, deployment, and maintenance thanks to essential components packaged in a weather-resistant container. In addition to superior sound attenuation, the enclosure is equipped with rental-ready features, such as a block heater, battery charger, permanent magnet generator (PMG), switchable voltage outputs, and an optional trailer mount.
Engineered for rental applications, the XQ330 is equipped with the EMCP 4.4 digital control panel providing an easy-to-access interface and a programmable logic controller functionality to accommodate changes in processes or application requirements. Critical access to the power meter, protective relay, engine, and generator parameters is provided by the user-friendly interface.
For added peace of mind, the generator set with Cat Connect technology can be remotely tracked and managed via a mobile device. Real-time data on fuel level, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) level, battery voltage, and run status indicate if the asset is ready to run or needs any service, helping to ensure smooth operations and controlled costs.

Generating up to 288 kW of standby power or 264 kW of prime power, the readily available and rentable generator complies with the U.S. EPA’s Tier 4 Final emission standards.

The Cat® XQ330 provides world class performance and enhanced usability. This model is powered by the fuel-efficient Cat C9.3 Tier 4 Final compliant engine equipped with the Cat NOx Reduction System. Equipped with the EMCP 4.4 control panel, the XQ330 features a user-friendly interface and automatic generator set paralleling. A principle advantage of the control system offers simpler and faster voltage changes. Providing greater flexibility when moving between multiple job sites with differing frequency and voltage needs, the auto-configuration capability eliminates the time required when reprogramming units and potential errors. Additional features include lower noise levels and improved part load fuel consumption.
