The Importance of Demonstrating

It was around in the 1920s when Ralph Easton cultivated without being aware of what we know as Demonstration and Learning Centers (DLCs). He soon realized that it was necessary to show and prove that Caterpillar has a different product and to demonstrate the performance of the machines. Some years later, around 1930, the first Caterpillar demonstration area was established outside the East Peoria plant, and Caterpillar operators started to give equipment demonstrations. The demo areas helped the potential customer to decide the size of machines and the type of earthmoving system that would best fit their needs. In addition, demonstrations on site, some operators would go on special assignments to demonstrate our equipment across the globe.
