The Caterpillar Demonstration & Learning Centers are designed to demonstrate the value of Cat® products and services through the operation and application of our equipment.

These centers provide opportunities to build machine and application knowledge tailored to your needs. Training takes place in advanced classrooms and out in the field, led by instructors who bring years of expertise and practical experience.

Our Facilities

There are three Demonstration & Learning Centers located around the globe. Each center is staffed by highly skilled demonstrator instructors with at least 10 years of experience operating equipment in heavy construction, general construction, quarry/aggregates, or mining. Their deep understanding of both products and applications allows them to deliver effective training and product demonstrations that support your success. Across the three DLCs, there are approximately 180 machines supporting multiple industries, including mining and construction. You'll see, learn about, operate, and service the latest Cat® equipment in an environment unlike any other. Each of our facilities houses simulated worksite applications and conditions with realistic controls. Our simulators provide hands-on learning in a safe and controlled environment to enhance traditional operator training programs.

Edwards Demonstration & Learning Center

Peoria, Ilinois

The Caterpillar Edwards Demonstration & Learning Center is located in Central Illinois near Peoria. Nestled in 720 acres of unspoiled Illinois prairie, every square foot of this Caterpillar resource reflects truly advanced technology. There are two indoor dirt areas and seven outdoor sites with various materials to replicate a realistic jobsite situation that best suits your needs.
