Cat Certified Maintained FAQs
What is Cat Certified Maintained?
CCM is a program that ensures your equipment is serviced by Cat dealer technicians at every planned maintenance interval. It provides consistent, expert care throughout the machine’s lifecycle.
How Does Cat Certified Maintained Bring Additional Value?
CCM helps build a documented history of expert maintenance performed by Cat dealer technicians at every planned service interval. The result is a machine backed by a verified maintenance record that helps increase resale value.
I've had my machine serviced by several Cat dealers; can it still qualify for CCM?
Yes, as long as all of your machine’s required planned maintenance has been performed on time by a Cat dealer, it will qualify. The CCM badge will state the name of the dealer that the machine’s CVA was purchased through.
Does Certification Require A Minimum Number Of Hours?
Yes, the machine must have uninterrupted service for 1,000–3,000 hours, depending on the machine type. Contact your Cat dealer to confirm the requirement for your machine.
How long does CCM designation last once it's been earned?
You can continue to maintain CCM status for your machine as long as you keep your CVA with dealer labor up to date with your Cat dealer. Your badge can be reissued at specific intervals the longer into the maintenance life cycle you go.
How Do I Know If I Already Qualify?
Your machine may already be on the path to CCM if it has been enrolled in a qualifying dealer-labor-based CVA plan since initial purchase and all planned maintenance has been completed on time by Cat dealer technicians. Your Cat dealer can confirm eligibility and qualification status.
