This program is designed for entry-level operators with less than 3 years operating experience. It provides a foundation for development of skills for safe and proficient operation. Each Level I course is focused on one machine family. Individuals complete this training with the knowledge and documentation (Certificate of Completion) of their skill levels as measured against task competency standards.
Level I Competent Operator Training is the first of three levels in the Cat® Equipment Training Solutions Program and consists of the following product families:
At a Caterpillar facility: $750 US per student/per day/per machine. Includes instructor, machines, and classroom materials. Does NOT include transportation and hotel accommodations. Some machine families may not be available at a Demonstration & Learning Center. Please check for availability.
At a customer job site: $1200 US per day with one instructor travel day at $1200 US plus expenses billed at cost. Training for some mining products will be billed at $1650 per day and may require up to 5 days to complete. International travel may require an additional travel day.
Typical classes are 2 days and include classroom and in-the-iron activities. Complex machines and applications can take additional time.
Up to fifteen calendar days prior to start of the class, cancellation fee is 25% of total program cost. Within fifteen days, cancellation fee is 50% of total program cost.
All enrollments must be received no less than 30 days prior to start of class.
“No shows” upon start of class will be billed at 100%.
